For Trainees: IVNT Mentorship Program
One-on-one mentorship supporting safe, evidence-informed IV nutrient therapy practice
Service Description
The IV Nutrient Therapy (IVNT) Mentorship Program is a professional development service designed for interns, residents, regulated healthcare providers who administer IVNT, and naturopathic doctors with fewer than two (2) years of independent practice experience or who completed their standard IVNT training within the past twelve (12) months. This programme provides ad hoc, one-on-one mentorship focused on clinical reasoning, safety principles, protocol planning, and practical IV nutrient therapy implementation. Mentorship is educational and consultative only and does not constitute clinical supervision, delegation, or shared responsibility for patient care. Enrollment includes biweekly virtual mentorship sessions of up to two (2) hours each. Sessions are primarily mentee-driven. Structured discussion of specific topics may be included when requested in advance and approved at the mentor’s discretion. Mentorship may address general IVNT principles, including indication selection, laboratory interpretation, contraindications and risk mitigation, dosing and sequencing concepts, documentation standards, workflow planning, and review of de-identified case scenarios. All guidance is principles-based. No patient-specific medical advice, prescribing, or treatment direction is provided. All case material discussed must be fully de-identified unless the mentee has lawful authority and documented consent to disclose identifiable information. The mentor does not access patient records and assumes no responsibility for patient care. The mentee retains sole responsibility for all clinical decisions, implementation, documentation, and compliance with applicable laws and professional standards. The annual programme fee is $1,000 USD, billed in advance, and covers a twelve (12) month term. No refunds are issued after the first month of mentorship. The mentor reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation if guidance is sought outside lawful scope, unsafe practices are requested, confidentiality requirements are breached, or professional conduct standards are not met. No outcomes are guaranteed. Enrollment constitutes acceptance of these terms and forms a binding professional mentorship agreement.
